SearStone Hires Lamphere, Promotes Lowe

CARY, N.C. (Dec. 30, 2008) – SearStone, a distinctly different continuing care retirement community, has announced the hiring of Morgan Lamphere as director of community outreach and the promotion of Laura Lowe to director of sales and marketing.
Prior to joining SearStone, Lamphere served as director of community relations at Sunrise Senior Living. She has served on many community boards to further the wellness of area seniors, including the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk Committee, Retired Senior Volunteer Program Advisory Council, Health Affairs Round Table, and Hospice of Wake County’s Community Education Committee.
A graduate of Ohio University, Lamphere is also an experienced public speaker and has given numerous talks in the Triangle area on behalf of the Life Decisions Coalition, for which she also serves as vice president. She is available to speak to civic and professional groups on topics such as Alzheimer’s disease, advanced directives and retirement living options for seniors.
Bringing more than 14 years of industry experience specializing in sales and marketing, Lowe was promoted from sales associate at SearStone to her new position. Within the senior industry she has worked as community relations director, regional marketing director and marketing director
. Lowe and her family moved to North Carolina from Clearwater, Fla., where she had served as regional sales director for a community with locations throughout the state. She has been with SearStone since March 2007.
